DESCRIPTION:The heroic actions of a Jesuit priest are credited with scoring a cannonball bullseye on a marauding Dutch ship on June 24\, 1622 via the divine guidance of Macao’s patron saint\, John the Baptist. The day has been commemorated ever since with a festival of thanksgiving\, dancing\, singing\, feasting and games.
