SUMMARY:"From Where I Stand" Mobile Photography Installation by Monica Coteriano
DESCRIPTION:Monica Coteriano is a choreographer\, dancer\, performer\, songwriter\, singer\, light designer. She gained interest in Mobile Photography while she was living in Brazil and in 2013 her photo was chosen by Instagram to exhibit in first ground Gallery in Miami. In 2015\, she was shortlisted for the Mobile phone award – Sony World Photography Awards. The mobile photography installation was technically challenging\, 5 years in the making and 3 years to finally be able to assemble the concept. DESCRIPTION:The quality of films made by university students has been steadily increasing in recent years. Many have shined in various film festivals\, winning different kinds of important awards. Featuring outstanding student films from mainland China\, Macau\, Hong Kong and Taiwan. This is definitely a rare opportunity to enjoy their remarkable short and feature-length films. There will be 22 shorts films and audiences can appreciate all these films at the 6-day Student Film Festival. Covering a wide variety of characteristics and tone\, the films range from the experimental to the more commercial. \n8 series will be screened in this Student Film Festival. They are: \n1. DESCRIPTION:The Sinulog Festival is one of the largest and most colorful festivals in the Philippines\, with a very rich history. To honor the “Santo Niño” – the child Jesus.
