SUMMARY:Art Macao Outdoor Installations
DESCRIPTION:Featured image above: Learning from Macao\, by the Drawing Architecture Studio. Handover Gifts Museum \nSix eye-catching outdoor art installations are displayed at different corners of the city as part of Art Macao\, a mega international cultural and artistic event in Macau\, providing visitors with distinctive art and cultural attractions. \nLearning from Macao is a mega-urban panorama. Using the signature language of architectural axonometric drawing\, the mainland-based Drawing Architecture Studio has attempted to explore a new 21st-century urban design concept with Macau as its theme. It’s on display at the exterior wall of the Handover Gifts Museum of Macao. \nThe artwork “Gathering” by Su Xinping from Mainland China\, sets the huge hands at an upward angle. The work combines figurative expression with surreal dimensions to create a mountain-like shape\, allowing viewers to look up from a relatively low horizontal line of sight and feel the infinite space that extends out. The artwork can be visited at the Art Plaza of the Macao Cultural Centre. \nChakra was created by Riccardo Cordero\, from Italy. The sculptures\, located in Tap Seac Square\, are formed into a circle\, allowing people to visit and appreciate the work from various perspectives. \nGlobal City\, signed by Argentinian artist Leandro Erlich\, uses steel and resin to interpret the concept of “a global village”\, highlighting the advantages of human interconnectedness while showing the threat posed by human civilization to the earth\, exploring the realistic significance of sharing the same house in the hustle and bustle in the development of humanity. You can visit this in front of the Taipa Houses-Museum. \nMade of mirror and fiberglass\, the installation Miss You\, by Thailand artist Gongkan conveys the idea that “love” is freedom without boundaries\, and everyone can express “love” without restraint. Open to the public at Anim’Arte Nam Van. \nIn Barra square\, you’ll be able to see Sun Boat\, a work that explores migration by Moataz Nasr (from Egypt)\, features a solar disc of 360 paddles to illustrate the endless\, interconnected movement of human beings on earth seeking a better life. \nWhen: September 1–30\, 2021 \nWhere: Handover Gifts Museum of Macao\, 237–285 Avenida Xian Xing Hai\, NAPE\, Macau\, Art Plaza\, Macao Cultural Centre\, Avenida Xian Xing Hai s/n\, NAPE\, Macau\, Tap Seac Square\, Avenida do Conselheiro Ferreira de Almeida\, Macau\, Taipa Houses-Museum\, Anim’Arte Nam Van\, 744B Avenida Panorâmica do Lago Nam Van\, Macau\, and Barra square\, Macau \nHow much: Free admission \nFor more information\, check the event’s official page \nMiss You\, by Thailand artist Gongkan. SUMMARY:Moon-Themed Walks Across Macau
DESCRIPTION:It’s time for gatherings with family and friends during the Mid-Autumn Festival\, and one of the festive activities is moon appreciation. The Cultural Affairs Bureau has crafted a selection of viewpoints suggestions from where people can watch the moon and all its surroundings. Despite the dense urban environment\, there are actually many good spots for appreciating the full moon\, some of which not only offer spectacular views of the moon\, but also the iconic cityscape of Macau. Let’s enjoy a cosy evening with family and friends this Mid-Autumn Festival with mooncakes and lanterns! \nAt an elevation of 62.7 metres above sea level\, Penha Hill is located on the east of the Inner Harbour and the west of Nam Van Lake. It is also next to Barra Hill\, which is on its southwest. On the east side of Penha Hill is the official residence of the Portuguese Consul General in Macau (Former Hotel Bela Vista). Perched on top of the hill\, Our Lady of Penha Chapel was built in 1622 and once served as the residence of the Bishop of the Diocese of Macao. Featuring the spire of a Gothic church\, it has been praised as “a building of architectural value”\, and is listed in the Classified Immovable Properties. Overflowing with plants\, the hill is a tranquil and pleasing place for visitors to enjoy great views of Praia Grande. \nAt 223 metres above the ground\, visitors can enjoy amazing 360° views of Macau Peninsula\, Taipa and Coloane\, from the Observation Decks of Macau Tower. Brave visitors can also experience the thrill of taking photos from above through the laminate glass floor of the Observation Lounge\, overlooking the traffic on the ground. In addition to the great views during the day\, visitors can also enjoy the sunset and twilight\, brilliantly lit lights or the moonrise during the Mid-Autumn Festival\, creating more memories of the trip to Macau. \nThe leisure area on the Taipa Waterfront offers a large number of leisure facilities\, including a jogging track\, bicycle track\, children’s playground\, workout area and recreational facilities. Bicycle rental services are also available for visitors to enjoy the Taipa coastline while cycling. On mid-autumn nights\, visitors can enjoy the moon from the quiet seawall\, a perfect place for busy city dwellers to relax and relieve stress. \nAlso known as “Lou Yun” (Lou’s Garden) and “Lou Kau Garden”\, Lou Lim Ioc Park was named after the son of Lou Cheok Chi\, a wealthy merchant of Macau in the 19th century. It is the only park on the Macau peninsula landscaped in the style of classical parks of Suzhou and Hangzhou in China. Acquired by the Macau Government in 1973\, the park has elegant pavilions\, ponds\, bridges\, grottos\, water cascades\, curiously-shaped rockeries and winding corridors. The architectural elements of its Chon Chou Tong Pavilion and park walls\, styled after that of Southern Europe\, blend in harmoniously with its classical layout. The park is indeed an embodiment of Chinese and Western influences\, which also characterises the uniqueness of Macau’s culture. Every year during the Mid-Autumn Festival\, residents and visitors come to the park to enjoy the moon\, mooncakes and lantern riddles amidst the ancient and elegant scenery. \nAcclaimed as one of Macau’s Eight Scenic Spots\, the Taipa Houses represent the charming Portuguese architectural style in Taipa. The Portuguese residences along Avenida da Praia\, together with the neighbouring Our Lady of Carmel Church and the garden\, comprise a picturesque landscape in which the five greenhouses stand out as the most representative. \nIn 2016\, the Macao SAR Government re-capitalised these five buildings by transforming them into the “Macanese Living Museum”\, “Exhibitions Gallery”\, “Creative Casa”\, “Nostalgic House” and “House for Receptions” from west to east\, respectively. This project has converted the place into a combination of culture and creativity\, with outdoor performances and leisure elements\, making it a showcase of not only the culture of the Portuguese-speaking countries but of culture from all over the world. \nWhen: Ongoing \nWhere: Penha Hill\, Hilltop of Penha Hill\, Macau\,  Macau Tower\, Largo da Torre de Macau\, Taipa Waterfront\, Zona de Lazer da Marginal da Taipa\, Taipa\, Lou Lim Ioc Garden\, 10 Estrada de Adolfo Loureiro\, Macau\, Taipa Houses-Museum\, Avenida da Praia\, Carmo\, Taipa \nHow much: Free admission for most of these spots* \n*Macau Tower Observation Deck – MOP $165 per person \n*Bike rent in Taipa – MOP $10–20 per hour \nFor more information\, call (853) 8988 4000\, send an email to info.dm@icm.gov.mo or check here

SUMMARY:The Manor Celebrates Sustainable Dining
DESCRIPTION:Featured image: True-born beef  \nThe Manor is celebrating sustainable dining with a six-course menu featuring the finest sustainably sourced ingredients and wines. The Manor’s Executive Sous Chef Michele Dell’Aquila has raised his game by collaborating with sustainable food producers and utilizing seasonal ingredients to design a menu that not only tantalizes the taste buds but is also environmentally friendly. \nFor Chef Michele\, cooking with sustainable produce is a significant game-changer in today’s world. He actively searches for the right food producers that support the planet and helping people re-establish a healthy relationship with nature. \nSignature dishes showcasing sustainable ingredients in the six-course menu include true born tenderloin tartare\, crème fraîche and Calvisius Siberian caviar\, true born tomahawk with maitake mushroom\, smoked potato foam and port wine sauce\, and true born sirloin with beluga lentil\, green pea\, pumpkin\, foie gras\, and beef jus. This sustainable beef originates from Monte do Pasto\, in the sunniest plains of Portugal. Open-air breeding\, animal welfare\, a perfect blend of the best European breeds\, cut design\, maturation\, and deep freezing are the secrets to this tasty\, tender\, and nutritious beef presented on the menu. \nThe Canary Island Aquanaria seabass with Kalamata olives\, Japanese cherry tomato\, quinoa\, Paimpol cocoa bean\, and Vermentino emulsion is the true definition of haute cuisine. The chef’s fish of choice for its outstanding qualities\, this award-winning seabass breeds in the deep and oxygenated waters of the Atlantic sea with constant temperatures all year round and are fed with whole fishes from a sustainable fishery\, monitored and certified by the Marine Trust. For this dish\, Chef Michele uses a variety of cooking techniques to maximize flavors\, including searing\, smoking\, and the gentle sous-vide method that slowly cooks the fish in a vacuum over a longer time to preserve the delicate texture of the fish. \nCalvisius Oscietra Royal Caviar crowns the barley risotto with Hokkaido scallops and burrata cheese. Calvisius caviar originates from Calvisano\, Italy’s northern region of Lombardy where the sturgeons live in the purest fresh spring water from local rivers and are given an all-organic feed that reproduces the types of algae that live in their natural habitat.  This bold caviar with full-flavored aromas of the sea finishes with a clean\, pure unabashed flavor. \nZolfini Bean\, also known as the Fagiolo del Centro “the bean of the hundred”\, is another signature dish on the menu. This bean is aptly named for its traditional sowing on the 100th day of the year. They have long been cultivated between the Arno River and Pratomagno mountains at altitudes as high as 600 meters. This scarce delicacy is dressed with spinach\, mushroom\, and black truffle ravioli. \nFor a decadent finale\, the Glenilen yogurt pannacotta with apricot\, peach\, wild berry\, and clotted ice cream featuring cream from Glenilen Farm\, will charm your palate.  This small dairy farm resting on the banks of the River Ilen in Ireland has been around for generations.  The lush hills offer its cows a rich and plentiful supply of nutritious grass which in turn supply the rich tasty milk free of artificial additives or preservatives\, for a pure authentic farmhouse taste. \nWhen: Ongoing\, daily\, 6:00pm–11:00pm \nWhere: The Manor\, The St. Regis Macao\, The Londoner Macao\, Estrada do Istmo\, s/n\, Cotai \nHow much: MOP $888 per person\, MOP $1\,388 per person (with sustainable wine pairing) \nFor more information and bookings\, check their website\, call +853 8113 1300\, or send an email to diningreservations.macao@stregis.com \nBarley risotto

SUMMARY:Bold Spirit: Works of Shi Lu From the Collection of the National Museum of China
DESCRIPTION:Featured image above: Labour-exchange Team – Scene of Rural Life in Northern Shaanxi \nThe exhibition is divided into four sections\, namely Revolutionary Epic\, Praise of the New Era\, Chang’an New Painting and Strength of Character\, featuring over 150 outstanding works by Shi Lu\, a renowned painter of the Chang’an Painting School\, including ink wash paintings\, prints\, oil paintings\, and calligraphies\, supplemented by relevant historical materials\, documents and pictures\, showing the change and innovation of the theme of his works and the formation of his distinctive style. \nShi Lu (1919–1982)\, a native of Renshou County in Sichuan Province\, is the adopted pseudonym of Feng Yaheng\, because of his admiration for Shi Tao and Lu Xun. As one of the 20th-century artists with the greatest contemporary spirit and avant-garde vision in the history of Chinese art\, Shi Lu devoted his life to the inheritance\, innovation\, and development of national art\, and advocated the artistic principle of “learning from tradition on the one hand and learning from life on the other”\, incorporating the scenery of the Loess Plateau and the customs of northern Shaanxi into his paintings. By developing his own style in landscape painting\, portraits\, bird-and-flower painting\, calligraphy\, seal carving\, poetry\, and literature and art theory\, he created and promoted one of the most important schools of modern Chinese painting – Chang’an Painting School. Shi Lu led his life exactly as he said: “I believe the intention of the painter is to represent the times.” Through this exhibition\, the audience can learn his unique artistic style in the history of modern Chinese art\, and experience the spirit of an era from an artistic perspective\, not to be missed. \nWhen: September 18–November 12\, 2021 \nWhere: Macao Museum of Art\, Avenida Xian Xing Hai\, NAPE\, Macau \nHow much: Free admission \nFor more information\, check here \nCoachman\, by Shi Lu

SUMMARY:The Melting Frozen Soil – Borderless Arts Exhibition
DESCRIPTION:The Rui Cunha Foundation presents The Melting Frozen Soil exhibition\, bringing together the works of two local plastic artists\, Minnian Ng Ka Ian and CC Wong Nga Peng\, to the walls of FRC Gallery. \nDeveloped by the Borderless Arts Association\, the exhibition showcases 30 art pieces\, created from mixed materials\, such as acrylic paint\, varnish\, crystal glue\, canvas\, wool\, embroidery thread\, silk and cotton\, leaves\, petals\, tree bark and other natural elements. According to the artists\, «we wanted to convey in our pieces the sensation of movement\, with stunning colors and the use of natural and artificial materials». \nThe theme underlying the project is the global concern for planet Earth. “The Arctic plays an important role in climate change. Since it is warming more than two times faster than the rest of the world its changes are affecting the global climate and ocean systems. Melting ice shelves are disturbing ecosystems\, releasing greenhouse gases such as methane and carbon dioxide stored in permafrost\, and exacerbating the ‘out of control’ climate change»\, declares the artists’ manifest of intentions. \nMinnian Ng and CC Wong hope to bring different visual experiences to the public through their works\, using a variety of media and interactive AR technology (Augmented Reality). \nWhen: September 21–October 5\, 2021 \nWhere: Rui Cunha Foundation\, GF 749 Avenida da Praia Grande\, Macau \nHow much: Free admission \nFor more information\, check here

SUMMARY:Frank Havermans: Infra # Macau_Artificial Landscapes
DESCRIPTION:This site-specific installation showcases an ongoing observation of infrastructure. Being mankind’s largest built structures\, infrastructure comprises an international network that supersedes national borders. Inspired by harbor maps from Macau\, Shenzhen\, Hong Kong and connecting them to Portugal (Lisbon) and the Netherlands (Rotterdam)\, the project became a way to convey the overseas relationships that have existed for hundreds of years between these cities. \nThe author has a personal or professional relationship with the chosen territories. If infrastructure connects people\, this storefront is a three-dimensional map that collides with a post-geographical affection. The spatial language of folded black harbor maps manifests uncanny views of an otherwise straightforward flat and generic typology. It proposes an imaginary transnational enterprise\, in which the white voids are merely temporary gaps that are soon filled as the built environment never ceases to expand. Hypothetically\, the ultimate iteration of this window would be an uneasy dense\, black picture. \nThis work done remotely was a special collaboration between Impromptu Projects studio and Studio Frank Havermans. A study model was developed and then replicated on the other side of the world by means of computer-aided drawing to ensure the fine-tuning of the full-size installation. Laser-cut plywood of different thicknesses was applied to the designated shapes\, spray painted and installed on-site by a local carpenter. \nThe artist is not present due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic; nevertheless\, his work has emerged for the first time in Macau and has been commissioned specifically for the storefront. As in all of Frank’s work unique in his spatial approach to form and site conditions—there is a limited time frame to experience and enjoy a glimpse of this international Dutch artist’s manifest. Metaphorically speaking\, the storefront is the tip of the iceberg\, with his latest monograph “Transitional” made available for consultation. \nWhen: September 9–December 31\, 2021 \nWhere: Impromptu Storefront\, 14–A Travessa Inácio Baptista\, Macau \nHow much: Free admission \nFor more information on the artwork\, click here

SUMMARY:Pulsating Morphosis Dance Performance
DESCRIPTION:The Macao Cultural Centre is present Pulsating Morphosis\, an avant-garde dance piece by local choreographer Keith Lao that will hit CCM’s Small Auditorium on September 24 and 25\, 2021. A vibrant group of local and Guangdong dancers will premiere Keith Lao’s vision of Macau\, portraying the city in three dimensions\, reinventing it in different forms. The young choreographer has devised the programme as the final stage of CCM’s cultural exchange project mentored by Germany trained\, Beijing based\, Sang Jijia and the HK City Contemporary Dance Company. \nFrom the skyline and crowded pavements to narrow streets\, traffic lights and the uniqueness of the city’s odours\, Pulsating Morphosis merges the aesthetics of human movement with a sprinkle of technology. Edging further the sensorial dimension of his work\, Keith brought along the experimental Hong Kong sound artist Dickson Dee and challenged local visual designer O Chi Wai to develop the imagery of this maverick new venture. \nHaving lived numerous performing and creative experiences throughout a short yet consistent career\, Keith Lao collaborated in various projects\, at times with renowned choreographers from distant latitudes\, like when he joined a programme hosted by international contemporary dance masters William Forsythe and Leigh Warren. Besides\, Keith has also been part of an educational project mentored by the world acclaimed Cloud Gate Dance Theatre of Taiwan. \nWhen: Friday and Saturday\, September 24 and 25\, 2021 \nWhere: Small Auditorium\, Macao Cultural Centre\, Avenida Xian Xing Hai s/n\, NAPE\, Macau \nHow much: MOP $180 per person \nFor more information\, check the event’s Facebook page

SUMMARY:Death and Rebirth – New Photography Works by Ieong Man Pan
DESCRIPTION:Taipa Village Cultural Association presents the last exhibition of the year\, “Death and Rebirth – New Photography Works by Ieong Man Pan”. As a starting point for this body of work\, Ieong recalls some of his life-changing personal experiences in search of a way to reset his photographic eye and continue to find a reason to pursue his passion. Focused on fleeting moments that usually pass unnoticed to the common and untrained eye\, the uncanny framing magnifies the meaning of being present\, being there at that specific moment of time and space\, equal to none other. \nAccording to the curator\, “it seems Ieong has been busy with many other facets still related to art in general and photography in particular\, such as curating exhibitions\, opening his own commercial photography studio and founding the 1844 Photography Art Space\, a gallery entirely dedicated to showing local photographic artwork. \nAs a starting point for this body of work\, Ieong recalls some of his life-changing personal experiences (see his artistic statement on the exhibition wall) in search of a way to reset his photographic eye and continue to find a reason to pursue his passion. Focused on fleeting moments that usually pass unnoticed to the common and untrained eye\, the uncanny framing magnifies the meaning of being present\, being there at that specific moment of time and space\, equal to none other. It is not a question of immortalizing the circumstance\, but rather finding a meaning of existence with simple clues and evidence of choice that are right in front of you. \nIn a way\, Ieong’s meticulous framing choices clear away the urban distractions to provoke introspection in the viewer\, as it mirrors one’s own reflection externally. Each angle is a persistent and ubiquitous view of reality’s idiosyncratic details. Each moment will extinguish immediately after one’s attention is drawn to distraction again. Therefore\, this photographic pause is in fact a breath to convey the lightness of our being.” \nWhen: October 6–31\, 2021 \nWhere: Taipa Village Art Space\, 10 Rua Dos Clérigos\, Taipa \nHow much: Free admission \nFor more information\, check here

SUMMARY:MGM Awakening Lion at MGM Theater
DESCRIPTION:MGM proudly announced that it joins hands with the Guangzhou Song and Dance Theatre to present the MGM Awakening Lion\, an exclusive and tailor-made version of the award-winning Chinese ethnic dance drama\, Awakening Lion. With its premiere this October\, this is the first residency show of the Guangzhou Song and Dance Theatre outside of Mainland China. MGM Awakening Lion was created with the objective to showcase traditional dance drama with innovation\, telling the great stories of the Chinese people with an internationalized and contemporary backdrop. \nGuangdong\, Hong Kong\, and Macau are inseparable both geographically and culturally\, as they share the same cultural root – the Lingnan culture. MGM Awakening Lion presented by MGM and Guangzhou Song and Dance Theatre explores the new possibilities in the utilization and preservation of cultural heritage\, as well as the collaboration between culture and tourism industries. The residency show will serve as the classic cultural performance of the GBA\, which utilizes cultural tourism to pass on Lingnan heritage and further deepens the exchanges in the region. \nThe original ethnic dance drama Awakening Lion is the first large-scale dance drama in China using Cantonese lion dance as its theme. Named the best dance drama by the most prominent dance award in China–the China Dance Lotus Awards\, the piece is a cluster of multiple cultural art elements including the lion dance\, Southern Fist (Nanquan)\, dance performance\, and another traditional folk intangible cultural heritage. A drama without dialogue\, it achieves bold innovations in stage music\, design\, lighting\, and costume and demonstrates the unique artistic charisma of the repertoire\, whilst telling the story of the Guangdong lion dance and Lingnan culture. \nMGM Awakening Lion is re-arranged and tailor-made according to the cutting-edge technology and state-of-the-art equipment of the MGM Theater. The 70-minute drama is an exemplar of cultural tourism catered to the new generation of tourists. Retaining the plot and the strongest Lingnan cultural characteristics from the original dance drama\, the pace of the drama has been enhanced\, becoming more upbeat. The performing venue–MGM Theater\, dubbed as Asia’s most advanced dynamic theater with a top-of-the-line black box theater setup\, is going to truly elevate the entertainment experience and allure of the traditional dance drama. Empowered by the world’s largest permanent indoor LED screen which blurs the line between virtual and reality\, the drama fuses the venue and the performance together to deliver a one-of-a-kind and visual-stimulating extravaganza to the audience. \nThe ethnic dance drama depicts the journey of transformation of two lion dancers in the face of love and hate\, along with the dilemma of choosing between family and the nation\, reflecting the perseverance of the Cantonese people. The set has also undergone all-around enhancements in terms of character modeling\, video background\, stage props\, choreography\, and even the use of music. Illustrating the essence of patriotic spirit with a contemporary touch\, it is going to be a whole new multi-sensory journey for Macau residents and tourists. \nWhen: First Round – October 8–10\, 2021 (8:00pm)\, October 9–10\, 2021 (3:00pm and 8:00pm) \nThird Round – December 19–24\, 2021 (8:00pm)\, December 25\, 2021 (3:00pm and 8:00pm) \nFourth Round – February 6\, 2022 (3:00pm and 8:00pm)\, February 7–12\, 2022 (8:00pm) \nWhere: MGM Theater\, MGM Cotai\, Avenida da Nave Desportiva\, Cotai \nHow much: MOP $280–600 per person \nFor more information and bookings\, check here. SUMMARY:Hairy Crab Menu at Grand Lisboa Palace
DESCRIPTION:Featured image: Hairy crab soup in mini pumpkin \nGrand Lisboa Palace Resort Macau is launching a special hairy crab menu at Chalou\, featuring meticulous Cantonese delicacies enhanced by the prized crustaceans. Paying homage to classic Canton culture with a modern design language\, Chalou has carefully selected high-quality Jiangsu freshwater hairy crabs to make dishes not only with sweet crab meat but also decadent roe. Through rich flavors and precise presentation\, the hairy crab specials at Chalou are not to be missed. \nLimited to five portions per day\, the giant hairy crab roe with sea urchin braised homemade noodles are made with at least eight hairy crabs. Fresh crab roe paste and half a plate of sea urchins are served with al dente and smooth noodles\, fit to serve eight to ten guests. Fragrantly rich and strong tasting\, the noodles are paired with small plates of extra toppings and condiments for guests to adjust the portions and flavours to their liking. \nHairy crab soup in mini pumpkin (see featured image) is a perfect combination of soft and smooth shredded crab meat and silky mashed pumpkin\, simmered with the eight-hour-long slow-cooked bone broth. Each drop of soup holds a well-rounded taste of savory to sweet. \nThe stuffed chicken wings with hairy crab create a new precedent on the traditional stuffed chicken wings! This dish replaces the shrimp filling with resplendent crab roe\, crab meat\, and cuttlefish paste. The stuffed chicken wings are then deep-fried to the perfect ratio of crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Their handmade hairy crab soup dumplings: feature a thin layer of dumpling skin that is hand-rolled by the chef before it is stuffed with sublime crab roe\, minced pork\, and soup gelatin. From the first bite of this steamed soup dumpling\, hot and delicious broth and tender roe fill the mouth with a flavor explosion. \nChalou also offers dishes such as hairy crab braised rice noodles\, baby spinach topped with braised hairy crab and Ibérico ham\, and fresh hairy crab and pork dumplings. Guests who prefer the more traditional way to enjoy crabs can choose to have male or female steamed hairy crab with perilla leaves. Gastronomes can pair these dishes with hot ginger tea or Chinese yellow wine to enhance the natural flavors of the crabs and counter their cooling effect. \nWhen: October 15–November 30\, 2021 \nWhere: Chalou\, Grand Lisboa Palace Resort Macau\, R. do Tiro\, Cotai\, Macau \nHow much: Starting from MOP $68 per dish \nFor more information and bookings\, call +853 8881 1320 \n*Starting from now until November 30\, Chalou has launched a special dinner discount for Macau locals on all hairy crab and à la carte dishes (except for the giant hairy crab roe with sea urchin braised homemade noodles).
