SUMMARY:"Future Roads" Hong Kong and Macau College Student Film Festival
DESCRIPTION:The quality of films made by university students has been steadily increasing in recent years. Many have shined in various film festivals\, winning different kinds of important awards. Featuring outstanding student films from mainland China\, Macau\, Hong Kong and Taiwan. This is definitely a rare opportunity to enjoy their remarkable short and feature-length films. There will be 22 shorts films and audiences can appreciate all these films at the 6-day Student Film Festival. Covering a wide variety of characteristics and tone\, the films range from the experimental to the more commercial. \n8 series will be screened in this Student Film Festival. They are: \n1. Macao Tertiary Institution Students’Short Films 1: 6 short films from Macao Polytechnic Institute and University of Macau running for a total of 67 minutes will be shown. They are Live Streaming\, Euthanasia\, The World of Airplanes (animation)\, Absurdity\, Merryland(animation)\, and The Last Ride (documentary). \n2. Mainland China’s University Student Film 1: Bad Daddy from Beijing Film Academy\, made in 2015\, and winner of the 15th Guangzhou College Student Film Festival\, “My First Film” –  Excellent Director\, Excellent Film. \n3. Hong Kong Universities Students’ Short Films 1: 2 short films from City University of Hong Kong and Hong Kong Baptist University running for 56 minutes. They are: The Smokies and Lotus. \n4. Taiwan Universities Students’ Short Films 1: 2 short films from Taipei University of the Arts and Shih Hsin University running for 49 minutes will be bought to you.Elsewhere and Wings. \n5. Mainland China’s Universities Students’ Short Films 2:  Oasis and The Last Shotfrom Beijing Normal University-Hong Kong Baptist University United International College (UIC) running for 49 minutes will be screened. \n6. Macao Tertiary Institution Students’ Short Films 2: 6 short films from Macao Polytechnic Institute and University of Macau running for 80 minutes will be presented to you. They are: BL85\, A Page\, A Friend of Mine (documentary)\, Save Me From Myself\,Lei Neng (documentary) and Jackpot. \n7. Hong Kong Universities Students’ Short Films 2:  2 short films entitled The Missingand Memory Editor from Hong Kong Baptist University and City University of Hong Kong running for a total of 46 minutes will be brought to you. \n8.
