DESCRIPTION:Little Rabbit Lanterns\, an Exhibition by Carlos Marreiros and Friends – Part 11 salutes the origins of Chinese lanterns\, which date back to the Han Dynasty 1\,800 years ago. Organized by Albergue SCM every year since 2009\, Part 11 features a collection of around 30 creative lanterns designed by artists from Macau and beyond inspired by the traditional rabbit lantern. DESCRIPTION:The 11-day beer fest at MGM Macau captures the essence of Bavarian festivities through German beers\, cuisines\, live entertainments and the Bavarian party atmosphere. \nMGM Macau will serve Spaten\, one of only six genuine Oktoberfest brews and other special drinks and wheat beer while offering the most traditional German gastronomies. Enjoy the rhythmic accordion\, oompah music and folk dances along with the Bavarian beer maids in dirndls. The huge beer tent with traditional decorations\, including ceiling wreaths\, buntings and carnival game booths\, will be a guaranteed fun and alive experience that is just like the Munich Oktoberfest. \nOnce again\, MGM is flying The Högl Fun Band all the way from Munich over to Macau to fill the nights with dynamic live performance and fun German essence. The band leader of Högl Fun Band has specially written a theme song “Nei Hou\, Macau!” (Hello Macau) for their friends of Macau and MGM’s Oktoberfest to add even more exciting elements to the party. \nThis year\, MGM will introduce its first Family Friendly Special Day Time Oktoberfest between 11:00am and 3:00pm on October 22 only.
