SUMMARY:Russian Autumn Culture Festival 2018
DESCRIPTION:The annual Russian Culture Festival known as “Russian Autumn” is coming to Hong Kong in October to showcase the Hong Kong Russian-speaking community with several different activities. Taste\, feel\, hear and discover real Russian Culture by joining a month-long program of events including art and photography exhibitions\, Russian bazaars\, films and performances\, discussions and lectures\, cooking classes\, networking\, and cultural workshops and promotions! \nDuring the Russian Culture Festival\, galleries will be hosting Russian art and photography exhibitions\, and there is the chance to meet Russian artists\, musicians\, designers\, vendors\, and chefs\, who have lived and worked in Hong Kong for several years\, as well as famous artists and musicians who will come to Hong Kong to participate in the festival. The organization believes that this festival will bring people a little bit closer and tighten the bonds of friendship between cultures. \n \nThe exhibition “Sentimental Tales” will feature work from Russian contemporary artists\, but there’s also a dining experience called “Noble Russian”\, at Chef Studio by Eddy. The festival will take place throughout October and the full programme is available on the event’s Facebook page\, with details on activities\, locations\, contacts and pricing. October 16 and 19 will have talks dedicated to travel in Russia\, and there is also a cemetery walk to get to know more about Russians in Hong Kong on October 20. To mark its tenth anniversary\, the event will take place at MGM’s newest resort hotel\, MGM Cotai (previous events were held at MGM Macau). The new venue will provide guests with a more spacious environment and make the party even more fun. The 11-day authentic Bavarian party is one of the most authentic Oktoberfest parties outside of Germany. \nIn the past nine years\, MGM has welcomed 127\,473 beer lovers with 123\,750 liters of beer and nearly 40\,000 kilograms of roasted pork knuckles and chickens. MGM captures the essence of the festivities through the traditional German food and beverage\, entertainments and decorations\, delivering the most authentic Bavarian party atmosphere in Macau. The beloved Högl Fun Band will once again fly over from Munich to deliver dynamic live performances. Löwenbräu\, one of the six genuine German Oktoberfest brews\, is definitely one of the highlights.
