Loly Indonesian Food is one of the biggest and most popular Indonesian restaurants in Macau. Set in a quiet alley a short walk from both Kiang Wu Hospital and Camões Garden, this is an all-time favorite for most Indonesians living in Macau. With a fair amount of tables and seats–set to host big groups of friends–it’s run by Indonesians serving authentic flavors from back home.
With a simple design and decorations, it’s a laid-back spot to head when looking for a place with an extensive menu gathering appetizers, mains–chicken, beef and fish–and lots of desserts. Here, you can share a platter of sate ayam (satay chicken) with a peanut dip that is packed with sensational flavors. If you like seafood, gulai ikan (derived from the word gulai as coconut curry and ikan as fish) is a rich, spicy and succulent curry-like sauce complemented with steamed white rice. This restaurant gets pretty crowded during lunch and dinner time with Indonesian people living in Macau–which usually means the place is good and serves authentic dishes.
Opening hours: Tuesday–Sunday, 12:00pm–9:00pm
