Lun Kei Sopa de Fitas is a local eatery serving simple yet mouthwatering dishes in the heart of the city. Set on a quiet and narrow alley close to Rua da Felicidade and Almeida Ribeiro avenue, Lun Kei is known for its dried shrimp roe noodles and its wonton noodles soup, very sought-after by locals. It’s usually busy during lunchtime with people from different background heading there to grab lunch.
It also has customers at other times of the day. The staff doesn’t speak English, but they’re eager to help however they can, especially checking the menu, which is also in Chinese. Some signature dishes include squid and tofu noodles soup, spicy stir-fried noodles, and also their steamed vegetables.
Lun Kei Sopa de Fitas is easily recognizable from the outside due to its bright green signage with the name of the restaurant in golden letters. It’s located in the same street as The Himalayan House.
Their second branch can be found in Conselheiro Ferreira de Almeida Avenue–a five-minute walk from Tap Seac Square.
Opening hours: Daily, 12:00pm–10:00pm
