Lavish Gourmet
Bikini season is always just around the corner; unfortunately so is the pizza place. But thankfully, Lavish Gourmet serves Italian-style whole wheat pizza made with beetroot to give your pie a healthier twist. We love their herbed pumpkin pizza, the sweetness of the pumpkin combined with the herbs makes this colorful pizza a flavor sensation. The perfect seasonal twist to your weekly pizza night that adds sweetness and flavor to this ultimate vegetarian pizza. We also love their lychee mary pizza—just think of a classic margarita pizza and now replace tomatoes with actual lychee bits! The sweetness of the fruit balances perfectly with basil. Their most recommended item is the truffle forest pizza that will inspire you to change your relationship status: engaged to pizza. Easy to enjoy and wonderfully healthy.

One Creative Express Cafe
If you’re hungry and on the go, you can hunt for uniquely flavored pizzas (most of which are original recipes) at One Creative Express Cafe located further down the steps of Calçada do Amparo. Bite into their salty egg pizza with salted egg yolk, cherry tomatoes, onion, and tomato sauce that gives the classic Italian pizza a twist with the brined eggs. If you like pineapples with your pizza, try this other tropical fruit—bananas. Yes, again we try not to get too obsessed with their banana pizza with fresh banana, cinnamon sugar, and thousand island sauce. As bizarre as it sounds, it is crazily delicious! They also serve spicy black bean dace fish, wagyu beef, Alaska crab, seafood in squid ink, and honey cream cheese pizza versions. Do you dare to try their crazy flavors?

Cheers Pub
A great chill out spot located close to the border with China, where night owls come to party with friends, a couple of drinks, and wild pizza combinations! Sink your teeth into their signature durian pizza. While we were nervous that the combination of durian and pizza would be strange, we decided to have a go anyway and it turned out to be surprisingly tasty! At first bite, we were pleased with the durian topping as it was a good mixture of sweet and bitter and its creamy texture worked well with cheese. And while warm durian usually wouldn’t sound very appetizing, it was almost like you were biting into an egg or cheese tart. There was just something strangely good about it. Just be prepared to be hit with the smell of it when you order this and when it finally arrives to your table. It’s a love and hate kind of food relationship! Another extraordinary pizza and the only love triangle you’ll ever want is their Japanese eel pizza. Japan is known for its unusual pizza toppings, but eel might be a step too far for even the most adventurous pizza eaters. But if you love takoyaki and Japanese food, you’ll like this one. They also serve purple sweet potato pizza (showed in above photo), salty egg yolk bacon with avocado sauce, Thai pork floss and tuna, mushroom chicken with black truffle sauce, and more! Paired with their recommended snowball drink, passion fruit mojito and maybe a tower of beer if we feel like staying until closing time, we’ll certainly call it a pizza kind of night out.
