The year of 2019 is the 70th anniversary of the death of German composer Richard Strauss. To commemorate this talented composer, Macao Orchestra will present the unique charm of his musical art in this season. Strauss is the greatest composer of symphonic poems after Liszt. His two classic masterpieces, namely Don Juan and Tod und Verklarung (Death and Transfiguration), vividly demonstrate profound philosophical thinking with vivid musical narratives. The Macao Orchestra will work with the talented Chinese violinist Tianwa Yang to present the passionate Symphonie Espagnole. It takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, including one interval.
