This month, the Macao Youth Symphony Orchestra Association (YSO) presents a series of wonderful musical programmes for all the music lovers in town: “The 10th Macao Youth Symphony Orchestra Music Festival” takes world heritage sites and other unique architecture in Macau as a performance stage, and brings wonderful melodies around the city with chamber music in the form of orchestral, solos, ensembles, etc. Celebrating Beethoven’s 250th birthday, the YSO presents “The Macao Youth Symphony Orchestra 23rd Anniversary Concert – Amazing Beethoven” to commemorate the legendary life of the composer and his masterpieces.
Groups When Trumpet Meets Trombone and MYSO Harp Studio Recital perform on August 1, while collectives Dancing by the stream Quintet and Principal Stage 2 – String Family take St. Lazarus Church’s stage the next day. At Sir Robert Ho Tung Library, you’ll be able to see performances by The Silent Giant (Double Bass) on August 7, Candy’s Bilingual Recital – Horn & Piano and Principal Stage 3 – Winds Family on August 8, and Repeat the Big Notes followed by Violin Miniatures the day after.
Casa Garden was the chosen venue for concerts by Horn Signal from MYSO, Bassoonist Holiday, Principal Stage 4 – Amazing Violin, Principal Stage 4 – Amazing Violin, Story of Cellist & Composer, Dance of Flute, Dreaming Quintets and String Quartet Master Works on different times on August 21, 22 and 23, 2020.
