Organizers Art Projectors Hong Kong, Last Bullet Production and HKPI showcases more than 70 pieces by the artist, Banksy whose real identity is still unknown. Starting on December 20, 2019, the audience can appreciate his works at Portal 6311, in Kowloon. One highlight to note from the show is the serigraph of Banksy’s Girl with Balloon, similar to the one destroyed by the artist himself at Sotheby’s London auction house.
This exhibition, like all other shows dedicated to Banksy, is not authorized by the artist, who wishes to continue his pursuit in remaining anonymous and independent. This is the first major showcase in Hong Kong to be organized featuring this iconoclastic British artist, whose work has revolutionized contemporary art while his true identity continues to be unknown.
