Aiming to raise public awareness about the importance of the preservation of cultural heritage, the China cultural and natural heritage day has been celebrated annually since 2006. To mark the occasion, the Cultural Affairs Bureau is organizing several activities, including free visits to World Heritage sites and museums, talks and a heritage photography course (to register please click here). They will also be hosting a promotional carnival that will be highlighting the city’s cultural heritage exposing the most of Macau.
