The First Filmmaker-in-Residence features director Cheung King-Wai at Cinematheque Passion. His two documentaries “KJ: Music and Life” and “The Taste of Youth” will be screening with 2 shows each. There is also a post-screening talk with Director Cheung.
Generation gaps always exist. Adults ask teenagers to go to university and then look for a stable job, while teenagers reject following the mainstream blindly. Such differences and misunderstandings create conflicts. Nine music-lovers open their hearts to talk about their sweet and bitter moments. Golden Horse Awards winner, director King Wai Cheung portrays today’s Hong Kong teenagers, reflecting the present and pointing to the future of Hong Kong. The Taste of Youth is an open letter to the young, to those who were young once and to those who care about youth.
