Each year, the parade is the most important celebration event for visitors to experience the joy of Chinese New Year. The theme of the parade this year is “Celebration of the Year of the Rat”, and the 18 parade floats wind their way through some of the most atmospheric districts of the city alongside performances on January 27 and February 1. As per tradition, all of the splendid floats are showcased to the public at the Macao Science Center and Tap Seac Square.
