The highly anticipated Vasco Bar and Lounge will re-open on December 18 with its newly designed cocktail program and beverage experience designed to provide an elevated drinking experience for all guests. To celebrate this Christmas in style, the “Scent of Christmas” afternoon set will be launched throughout December at Café Bela Vista with a special edition served in the birdcage at the mezzanine. A series of Noble Fir Christmas wreath workshops will be offered to guests to create their own wreaths, decorated with the most exquisite seasonal foliage, scented herbs, festive dried oranges as well as cinnamon sticks for a sustainable Christmas. To make the countdown a fun-filled extravaganza, the hotel will also host its signature BBQ lawn dinner followed by a countdown party, guests will be able to enjoy live music headlined by DJ Ted, drinks, and fun to ring in the new year.

Re-opening of Vasco Bar & Lounge
The Vasco cocktail program captures the story of the eponymous Portuguese navigator Vasco de Gama who charted a trade route around the Cape of Good Hope and established early trade with India during the age of exploration. His journeys and discoveries around the cape of Africa are reflected in each of the drink offerings, with rich spices and inspired ingredients to be found in each of the signature cocktails including the Old-Fashioned, one of the bar’s signature drinks.
