Mime as a genre has broadened out and evolved into performances that are not primarily based on, and thus restricted by, scripts and languages. Often aided with rich visual-audio effects, stories can be told with poetic dance, romantic puppetry, acrobatic physical movements, and more.
The Macau International Mime Festival 2018 aims to bring innovative and outstanding global mime pieces to Macau. In this inaugural festival organized by C.A.N.U. Theatre, there are artists from Brazil, France, England, Japan, and Macau. There will be four distinct performances, featuring clowns, marionettes, pantomime, and magic!
