The Baroque period was a brilliant era in which famous artists emerged and creativity bursted out in the history of European art. Whether it is the diversified ensemble repertoire or the concerti which highlight the soloists, they all thrived during this period. The Macao Orchestra has selected two masterpiece concerti, by Bach “The Father of Music”, together with Pachelbel’s most familiar “Canon in D Major”, which is full of tranquility and happiness, to show you the magnificent characteristics of the Baroque period.
