This just in: Swedish multinational fashion retailer H&M launched a limited edition collection named Asia Keys exclusive to five select markets in Asia. And guess which country is included—our very own Macau of course! The 30-piece collection inspired by innovative young fashion trendsetters in Asia, where street wear is absolutely on top of the game, is sold exclusively in H&M stores in Macau, Hong Kong, Mainland China, Japan, and Korea.
The womenswear section takes inspiration from the ascendance of Asia’s street wear scene, where trends are dynamic and constantly reinvented. One will find loose pieces such as wide-sleeved denim shirtdresses, a mesh skirt and dress, and a ruffled hem top. Colors are light and powdery, and styling is all about mismatching pieces to achieve street-inspired looks.
Meanwhile, the menswear section takes a playful approach from the 1990s, featuring pieces with wild prints and patterns yet toned down with the choice of colors, offering wearability. Some pieces are reminiscent of childhood, such as the monochrome two-set piece of t-shirt and shorts emblazoned with Donald Duck’s face.
