Alves Cafe is a small chain with branches around downtown Macau, with Macanese dishes on the menu. They offer a wide range of dishes, including deep fried codfish balls (bacalhau), minchi (minced pork with rice, diced potato, and a fried egg), and Singapore-style fried noodles. Alve Café has a welcoming environment and friendly staff, also serving breakfast and snacks items such as egg, ham, cheese or mixed ingredients’ sandwiches, hot and cold chocolate milk.
We reviewed this place and you can read it here. They also serve several drinks, such as coffee latte, milk tea, ice lemon tea and “yinyeung”, a very local drink made with coffee, tea and milk. You can also add sugar to it. As of June, 2020, they operate seven different branches across town.
