Christian Louboutin–at the Shoppes at Four Seasons–is the fashion and shoe designer’s first boutique in Macau. Inspired by his Parisian apartment, it has a cozy feeling, featuring elegant and classy decoration within a luxurious setting. This boutique caters to both men and women, featuring some of Louboutin’s most classic designs, as well as new ones. According to the designer, this Macau shop is supposed to make shoppers feel at home rather than at a store. The space features several things that Louboutin had in his own home in France, such as a red carpet and its very characteristic arches. There are also different areas within it, a replication of the section of a home like a study–where the men’s products are displayed–but also a vestibule and a living room displaying the women’s section.
Christian Louboutin started his business in Paris in 1991 with a women’s collection, later adding men’s shoes to his repertoire as well. The designer’s shoes are internationally recognized by its signature red lacquered sole. In 2014, he launched Christian Louboutin Beauté, specializing in beauty products such as perfumes and make-up amongst other things. Louboutin also produces other fashion accessories such as handbags and smaller leather goods.
Shoppes at Four Seasons is a shopping mall within Four Seasons Macao, Cotai Strip featuring a series of luxury brands’ stores, as well as chic cafes and places to dine. It’s also close to The Venetian Macao, connects to Sands Cotai Central, and other properties in the Cotai area, perfect for the shopaholics!
