One of the most popular attractions in Macau, St. Dominic’s Church is a baroque Catholic church that dates back to the late 16th century and comprises a sacred art museum featuring a number of sacred art relics.
The beautiful church founded by Spanish Dominican priests sports a fusion of European and Macanese features in its design. You cannot miss St. Dominic’s Church when walking from Senado Square up to the Ruins of St. Paul as it is located half way between the two famous landmarks.
St. Dominic’s Church is listed as one of the 29 sites that form the Historic Centre of Macau, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Opening hours: Daily from 10:00am to 6:00pm.
