The Wanderer, by Wong Ka Long
A clear reference to Portuguese writer and poet, Fernando Pessoa, local artist Wong Ka Long crafted these beautiful glass fiber painted sculptures representing Pessoa’s heteronyms. Sculptures wandering in the same place are and aren’t Pessoa at the same time, resonating with the heteronyms he invented. Perhaps visitors identify with these heteronyms too. Check out the installation, because besides being exclusive and original, it interacts with the public space since the sculptures are located at the garden space of the Taipa Houses. Macau is a busy city full of people and buildings, so let yourself breathe for a while and experience a different kind of exhibition.
