The traditional Festival of the Drunken Dragon is listed as part of Macau’s Intangible Cultural Heritage, and is inscribed on the “Third National List of Intangible Cultural Heritage”. The fishmonger associations in Macau celebrate the festival with a variety of activities, including the distribution of free longevity rice and the Drunken Dragon Parade. Members of local fishing associations join forces to create beautiful and traditional spectacles such as dancing, performances, and more. It takes place a bit all over town, including the central area.
