The St. Regis Macao, Cotai Strip offers a range of exquisite culinary delights and experiences to celebrate the Year of the Rat to share with friends and family and welcome prosperity for the year ahead. The St. Regis Macao’s in-house guests can delight in the renowned Chinese banquet delicacy “Buddha jumps over the Wall” soup. Their exquisite interpretation of this hearty soup is layered with the finest ingredients, including South African abalone, sea cucumber, dried scallops, fish maw, dried mushroom, cured ham and pork ribs.
This Chinese New Year also brings yet another brand new chapter of Stories of the Sea! The Manor’s culinary artisans have crafted eight dishes, including bluefin tuna loin served on a crispy potato bacon pillow with stracciatella cheese. Main courses include tiger prawns in cedar bark topped with Morocco argan oil, and the sustainably sourced Glacier 51 toothfish from the deep icy waters off the coast of Australia, served with fresh wasabi cream, yuzu curd and topped with nameko mushrooms from Japan. A new Hokkaido sea urchin dish is served with blue swimmer crab and Petrossian trout roe, and a new dish featuring abalone and tiger prawn Koshihikari rice cooked in risotto style are sure to delight. To finish, a black sesame panna cotta with mandarin sherbert completes the evening on a sweet note. Why not celebrate this festive time with something different and fresh?
To share some St. Regis good fortune and joy at home, The Manor has specially designed a limited condiment set featuring piri-piri sauce, XO sauce, and Himalayan pink rock salt. Representing wealth, status and exclusivity, the set is perfect as a gift or to elevate your Chinese New Year celebrations with family and friends.
