For one week, the city becomes a huge dance floor, with Macau welcoming the International Youth Dance Festival 2018 which is theme with this year’s edition is the “Belt and Road” initiative and it brings together young lovers of dance aged between 15 and 29, from an aggregate of 17 countries and regions, as well as participants from 10 local teams.
The Festival is held once every two years by the Education and Youth Affairs Bureau, with the first edition having been held in 1987. The highlight this year is a late-afternoon Parade on July 21st with a route that takes in the Ruins of St. Paul’s and Senado Square.
