There are four tour itineraries that have been launched by the local tourism industry to allow visitors to experience Macau’s unique historical and cultural elements. The tours are available in Cantonese, English and Portuguese. Private helicopter charter rides and tailor-made half-day tours also allow visitors to explore the city like never before. The Dive into the beauty of Coloane and explore the ancient architecture of Nossa Senhora Village of Ká-Hó takes you to all of these areas showcasing a side of Macau that you might’ve never seen before. It also includes one of Macau’s new eight scenic spots, Coloane Fishing Village.
One other tour lets visitors explore the history of Macau’s handover and the secrets of one of the most challenging competitions in the world at the recently revamped Macao Grand Prix Museum. Take a tour across the Handover Gifts Museum of Macao and also have a foodie journey across Senado Square.
If you’re with your other half or even with the family, why not explore the city centre with a tour guide explaining cool and interesting details? From A-Má Temple, passing by the Moorish Barrack, learn all about the maritime history of the city as well as Senado Square.
The Amazing one-day tour with MAKMAK takes you and your little ones on a journey by coach visiting various attractions. It includes lunch with MAKMAK, the mascot. Tailor-made tours are also available–including four hours chartered and guide service, with each vehicle limited to five people. Customise your half-day tour featuring gastronomy, luxury shopping, ecology and well-being visits and activities.
Perhaps the most exclusive and unique tour is the private helicopter charter ride, limited to 12 people. Fly over the city to enjoy breathtaking views including the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, the Macau Fisherman’s Wharf, the Kun IamEcumenical Centre, Macau Tower, Amizade Bridge and Governador Nobre de Carvalho Bridge, as well as Sai Van Bridge, the Macau Jockey Club, Caesars Golf Macau, Coloane Village, Cheoc Van Beach, Hac Sá Beach and an array of other beautiful spots.
