Themed “Tourism for Inclusive Growth”, 2021’s World Tourism Day is celebrated worldwide, with Macao Government Tourism Office organizing an array of activities. One popular event is the fun-filled annual Tray Race, in which participants from hotels and restaurants balance a bottle of beer on a tray whilst running from the Ruins of St. Paul’s to Senado Square. Plenty of spills and thrills–and some great photo ops! The Race is divided into male and female categories with prizes given to the winners, 1st runner-up, 2nd runner-up, and the best costume, as well as a prize presentation ceremony for “Incubation Plan for Macao’s KOL in Tourism” and performances.
