Facial Rejuvenation at Le SPA’tique, Parisian Macao

Parisian Macao spa

Living in a city is not always the best for our skin. There is pollution, free radicals, dust, and more. You name it, our skin is continuously under attack, which can cause irritation, acne, dark spots, dullness, and premature aging. Nevertheless, for us in Macau we have a savior in the form of a new luxurious spa facial from the Parisian Macao’s Le SPA’tique that is just right for city dwellers.

The new pollution-busting and brightening facial treatment promises to eradicate the harmful effects of the aggressive environment, and bring radiance and hydration back and restore bright and even complexion.

It is hard to believe that such a tranquil spot exists in the middle of busting Cotai. In fact, after just five minutes in SPA’tique you will feel relaxed and start to feel the calming effects already. There are friendly receptionists, and the atmosphere and tranquil music will make even the most anxious person unwind. While you sip on herbal tea, the therapist will talk you through the treatment before escorting you to the room where the magic happens. During any treatment session, therapists can always adapt to any skin concerns guests might have.

Relaxation Ritual

The treatment begins with a Parisian SPA’tique feet ritual which includes a warm bath with camomille and grapefruit and a massage. The therapists really know how to make sure customers feel comfortable and relaxed. All the products used are LING cosmetics, a renowned luxury brand from New York, founded by Ling Chan. Born in Hong Kong, she became a well-known facialist in the USA, in high demand of celebrities like Naomi Campbell and Barbara Streisand.

Step 1. Cleansing

The 90-minute facial treatment starts with the cleansing. To thoroughly remove makeup that guests might have on their face, therapists uses Rose Micellar Water. Then, comes the double cleansing with Purifying Facial Cleanser. The importance of cleansing cannot be underestimated. Throughout the day, our skin accumulates myriads of grease, dirt, dust and other harmful particles. If not removed, these can have an impact on skin complexion and cause irritation, acne and much more. Making sure skin is clean before proceeding with any treatment is crucial.

Step 2. Elastin Collagen Cream

The second stage is the application of Elastin Collagen Cream. To achieve maximum effect, the cream is applied with a lymphatic drainage massage technique. This technique is an effective way to stimulate the lymphatic system, which is designed to get rid of toxins that build up. Any skincare product applied with this method increases the effectiveness significantly. Collagen and elastin will go deeper into the epidermis, stimulating cellular renewal and making the skin firmer.

Step 3. Exfoliation

One of the most important phases of the treatment is the triple exfoliation segment. It is absolutely essential to regularly remove dead skin cells to avoid dull and dry looking skin. The barrier of old skin results in clogged pores which therefore causes acne and blemishes. SPA’tique offers a system of three exfoliation methods. First, the therapist turns on a steam machine to open up the pores and then gently applies an enzyme exfoliant, Spotlight Papaya Resurface Peel. The second part involves an ultrasonic peeling machine which further exfoliates skin and extracts clogged pores using delicate dermaplaning technique. A non-abrasive acid exfoliant with green tea and amino acids removes the remaining dead skin cells and brightens the complexion.

Step 4. Detox

To complete the skin renewal stage, VolClayNo Charcoal Detox Mask is used towards the end. The formula contains an array of active ingredients to decongest and refine skin tone. Volcanic ash is rich in antiseptic with antibacterial and antioxidant properties, while charcoal is great to draw harmful elements to the surface of the skin.

Step 5. Ultrasonic Serum Application

When the skin is thouroughly cleansed and detoxed, with dead skin removed and the pores are opened, the therapist can get down to the culmination point, the innovative ultrasonic serum application. The star product of this facial is the new AnTea Oxidant Anti-Pollution Solution, which contains Rooibos tea, also known as red tea, a powerful anti-oxidant. The highly-concentrated skin serum works in deeper layers of epidermis fighting major skin concerns. The ultrasonic machine waves disperse serum into even smaller particles which helps to deliver active ingredients deeper into the skin.

Step 6. Soothing and Cooling

Another mask concludes this complex, yet satisfying procedure – a Peppermint Alginate Mask. This mask closes the pores, soothes and cools down skin which extends the effects of serum.

When the pampering session is over, the moment of truth approaches. The therapist brings the mirror. So who’s the fairest of them all? You will likely find the effect is evident. The skin will look rested, radiant, and moisturized, with the pores decreased and redness gone. Your skin will be fresh and healthy. It’s important to note, that there are long-lasting benefits too. The skin will look even and healthy for days and make-up looks much better.

There is a special promotional price on the facial treatment until December 31. The introductory price is MOP $1,240 (regular price MOP $1,650) so don’t hesitate and get your skin healthy and bright for 2019!
