After America’s Next Top Model‘s brief production in Macau for its Cycle 18, another reality search is here, in the form of World Supermodel Production. The 10th International World Supermodel Production, which is an international competition for models aged 20 to 30, has chosen Macau as its host venue to promote the latest talents. In the competition, 26 countries will be represented by their chosen delegates in a fashion showdown and swimwear competition.
The World Supermodel Production, in line with International Fashion Week, will be held from 21st to 27th of May at the iconic Macau Tower. The full week is packed with activities including glamorous photoshoots, underwater filming, and three lead-up fashion shows that will culminate in the grand finale crowning and award ceremony. “We are very excited to come to Macau and work with the local professionals creating a spectacular show that will showcase the leading designers from around the world,” says Director of Operations Ms. Christine Hsu.
In the lead-up shows, participating models will showcase leading fashion designers from around the world with Galia Lahav headlining the week, supported by Japan’s Takami Bridal, and Mongolia’s Shilmel Zagvar, who will showcase their pieces during the designer and bridal fashion show.

Highlighting what the host city has to offer, the production takes on the theme of “business”, and has partnered with a modest yet no less glamorous hotel, Grand Coloane Resort, as its host accommodation where participants will be staying in for the event period. It’s the only resort that’s close to Hac Sa beach while being surrounded by lush greens, and offers a quiet, exclusive location.
