The Michelin-starred restaurant, Lai Heen, is going to present a culinary tribute to Moutai, one of China’s most cherished style of spirits. Distilled in the town of Moutai for over four centuries, this award-winning liquor is praised for its savory notes balanced with floral and fruity accents.
The executive chef of Lai Heen, Jackie Ho, showcases the flavors of luxurious ingredients such as Wagyu beef and abalone in an eight-course wine pairing menu. Signature dishes include braised superior bird’s nest 56 grams in brown sauce and braised whole abalone with Kanto Sea cucumber and goose web in supreme oyster sauce, which gloriously paired with four blends of vintage Moutai. Presenting the superior Guizhou Moutai 30 years, which is elegant and delicate with long aftertaste, to pair with the fried rice with Wagyu beef, Onion, preserved vegetables and sakura shrimp in premium soya sauce will definitely blow gourmets’ mind!
