Seven years, a wedding, and two beautiful little girls later, Shonda Blunt followed her heart to Macau. A California native, she left the sunshine coast in 2010 in support of a career opportunity for her now husband. After a quick transition into Macau life, she turned her focus towards her education and enrolled and graduated from the University of Macau with a degree in sociology.
Like most women she wears many hats—daughter, sister, friend, writer—but her favorite and most important roles are as a wife and a mother. You can usually catch her on the streets of Taipa, with a baby in tow as she runs from school drop off to morning play dates, grocery shopping to afternoon ballet, and ending her day at home with her “dreamy” husband and a glass of wine.
Living by the old adage “A Reason, A Season, A Lifetime,” Shonda is in her own words “happy and healthy in this season” of her life in Macau.
