Nestled in the heart of the historical neighborhood of St. Lazarus District, Albergue 1601 presents guests with Portuguese traditional dishes such as Guilho prawns, octopus Lagareiro style, duck rice, seafood rice and much more, offering a curated list of Portuguese wines as well. Alfresco dining is also available for lunch in the courtyard under the canopies of giant camphor trees during autumn and winter times. Albergue 1601 has traditional Portuguese decor and an overall cozy feel, as diners listen to Fado throughout their dining experience and illustrations containing excerpts of Camilo Pessanha’s poetry adorn the walls.
