The name of the restaurant comes from the owner’s Portuguese nickname. Located in the suburban area of Taipa, this restaurant is fully decorated with tones of reds and whites, large paintings, and mezzanine seatings. Banza used to visit local markets each morning to buy fresh ingredients to use for his frequently-changing daily specials. Although he’s not at the restaurant anymore, the new owners followed his footsteps and keep serving the freshest foods with an authentic taste from Portugal
Signature dishes include roasted suckling pig, stewed fish with pasta, seafood rice, duck rice, sardine, and much more. Their wine list is also quite extensive.
