Chún is a restaurant at MGM Cotai that serves authentic-refined Cantonese cuisine and offers a premium Chinese tea selection. To create classic Cantonese dishes, Chún’s Executive Sous Chef Tam Yum Chan focuses on fresh local ingredients and top-quality global imports, a combination that results in wellness-centered dishes. Guests can enjoy the extensive assortment of live seafood and dim sum under the MGM Cotai’s world record glass dome. Chún’s contemporary design is inspired by a crane, a symbol of longevity.
Among the refined creations by chef Tam, there are some signature dishes not to be missed. Stir-fried Boston lobster with assorted onion features succulent lobster prepared in wok chi Cantonese technique–first it’s cooked in high-temperature oil, then stir-fried. Baked crab shell stuffed with crab meat and white mushroom is a traditional dish with delicate fresh crab meat stuffed into its own shell and sautéed mushroom. Tea smoked crispy chicken, crunchy on the outside and perfectly juicy on the inside, leaves a pleasant Longjing tea aftertaste. At Chún, diners can appreciate a beautifully decorated Tea Bar and pair their meal with teas selected by the certified tea master. Alternatively, guests can choose to pair their dishes with fine wine from an extensive wine list.
