Has Sa Beach, which translates into “Black Sand” beach, is located in the eastern side of Coloane Island and one of Macau’s two natural beaches (alongside Cheoc Van Beach). Easily accessible by bus, Hac Sa Beach is a popular spot amongst locals to spend the day and there are a few adjacent facilities to be enjoyed with friends or family.
Visitors may stop by for a bite at one of the several BBQ stalls by the beach or even head to one of Macau’s most loved restaurants, Fernando’s.
Moreover, there are tennis courts, a swimming pool, a picnic area and an exercise area in the neighbouring Hac Sa Park, besides a fun children’s playground for the perfect ending to a beach day out.
