An opulent French restaurant, Le Grand Plaisir is located at The 13 Hotel in Coloane. They specialize in new style fusion cuisine inspired by southern French traditions and made with high-end imported ingredients, such as Osteria caviar and Hokkaido scallop. Additionally, Le Grand Plaisir boasts the biggest wine cellar in the hotel.
The interior of the hotel is a piece of art, especially the ceiling that was painted by a contemporary French printmaker and Hermes master Francois Houtin who worked for more than a year to finish it. There are nine VIP private rooms in the restaurant, each with its own unique design, decorated with renaissance-style paintings, large chandeliers, velvet, and marble.
