Founder Andrew Stow first opened Lord Stow’s Bakery in Coloane Village in 1989. At the time it was a modest affair in a small village shop. However, locals quickly took to his European produce, a phenomenon in an area with no strong tradition of bread eating.
As journalists started writing about it the small bakery, Lord Stow’s suddenly became famous for a specific bakery good, the egg tarts. The delicacy would grow to become almost a trademark of Macau, being featured in almost any list of the city’s tourist attractions.
Besides the famous egg tarts, guests may find a selection of breads, cookies and pastries, as well as soft drinks and Iced Lemon Tea.
