The Karl Lagerfeld is one of Grand Lisboa Palace Resort Macau‘s towers. It’s the first and only hotel in the world designed by the eponymous author. The Karl Lagerfeld hotel–part of the SJM group–is the first fashion hotel in Macau. Born from the mind of the designer itself, the project took five years to complete and has finally opened its doors to the public. Bold colors and patterns, Chinese materials, and Chinese-inspired decoration items fill the space to give body and soul to the hotel. The property’s concept shows Karl Lagerfeld’s cosmopolitan lifestyle and distinct aesthetic vision.
The contemporary Portuguese restaurant, Mesa was also been designed by Karl Lagerfeld. The hotel also includes The Book Lounge. Set in the lounge, it’s inspired by the designer’s passion for books and his own library at his photoshoot in Paris. This lounge has more than 4,000 real books on display. The Book Lounge serves French tea, as well as sweets like an éclair collection.
The Spa at The Karl Lagerfeld offers countless treatments for both men and women and these are performed with award-winning skincare brand 111SKIN, also in Macau for the first time.
