The Macau Grand Prix is renowned as one of the most prestigious international events on the local calendar. It is known for being the only street circuit racing event in which both car and motorcycle races are held. Every November, hundreds of racing drivers and riders compete in different categories of motor-racing, including single-seaters, touring cars and motorbikes.
The adrenaline-filled race combined with the roar of the crowd and the festive atmosphere embraces the city for an intense and incredible four days of non-stop excitement. This year’s Macau Grand Prix showcases three prestigious international car races: The Suncity Group Formula 3 Macau Grand Prix has once again been designated as the official FIA F3 World Cup, while the SJM Macau GT Cup is the FIA GT World Cup for the third consecutive year. The Suncity Group Macau Guia Race will also count as a round of the FIA World Touring Car Championship (WTCC), underscoring the confidence the motorsport world governing body has in the worldwide reputation of the Macau Grand Prix. The Suncity Group Macau Motorcycle Grand Prix – 51st Edition is also one of the four headliners in the six-race programme, complemented by the CTM Macau Touring Car Cup and the Suncity Group Chinese Racing Cup.
