The award-winning Food’s Future Summit 2018 by Foodie is returning to Hong Kong on 21 and 22 September. Launched in 2017, the goal of the Summit is to initiate change within the world of food by furthering ideas, knowledge, and connections across the full spectrum of the food space and the public. The Summit hopes to recognize future-forward innovations; champion individuals behind critical causes and empower consumers to make better-informed decisions about what they eat. Key questions they hope to tackle include, what we will be eating in the future, how will our dining experience change, and how to create a sustainable food cycle.
This year Sweden is the featured country, and special speakers will be flown in to share their country’s innovative approach to the future of food. There is also a fascinating line-up of speakers and panelists comprising local and overseas F&B industry stalwarts, thought leaders, food tech experts, and game-changing innovators. These will be supported by NGOs, social enterprises plus higher education institutions. Josh Tetrick, CEO of JUST (the groundbreaking Silicon Valley company behind JUST Mayo and JUST Scramble) will be Keynote Speaker, and there will also be interactive workshops and an exclusive marketplace!
