An exciting Chapter 9 of The Legendary Bar Stories will be held at Vida Rica Bar of Mandarin Oriental Macau. Lily & Bloom will be one of the anticipated restaurant and bars to showcase its signature cocktails and food, and Head Mixologist John Nugent and Executive Chef Chris Grare are taking over the entire bar area to satisfy guests’ cravings with innovative cocktails and delectable fare.
For two evenings only, guests can enjoy classic cocktails with a unique twist by Head Mixologist John Nugent. The cocktail menu for the nights includes John’s exhilarating twist to a 1700s classic concoction – the English Milk Punch, a drink with nine spirits and milk including aged rum, mezcal and more, clarified in a three-day process resulting in a crystal-clear, highly-addictive dram, with a hint of sweetness.
Another must-try cocktail is the Very Old Cow, a delightfully boozy, well-balanced cocktail inspired by Rosita, which followed John throughout his career. Other signature cocktails include the whiskey-based Snickers Old Fashioned, tangy LB Daiquiri, American Standard and more.
An original taste of Lily & Bloom is not complete without Executive Chef Chris Grare’s delicious fare. Indulge in the foie gras lollipop, where the sweet cherry compote delightfully cuts through the fatty foie gras. Opt for the cured salmon & smoked oyster, served with horseradish crème, caviar, and pickled mustard seed. Other flavorful items include the chicken drumettes, mini corn dogs, toasted marshmallow and other delicacies.
