Take your Chinese New Year celebrations to the top at CÉ LA VI. Located at the revamped California Tower in the heart of Lan Kwai Fong, this dining hotspot has arguably the best view of the city. It’s the place to be on one of the most important nights of the year. From February 1 to 28, guests can enjoy a tasting menu for friends and families except February 14 evening. The lavish CNY menu is available at HKD $888 per person for dinner only.

Duddell’s

Nestled in its namesake, the historic Duddell Street, Duddell’s never fails to impress at first sight. Boasting a dramatic inner staircase, designed by the celebrated Ilse Crawford, being at Duddell’s is an experience in itself. On Chinese New Year, a luxurious menu has creatively crafted consisting of roasted suckling pig, braised abalone 5 heads with shitake mushroom, sautéed prawn with capsicum and X.O. sauce, and many more delicious dishes that will captivate your taste buds. Starting from HKD $8,388 for four people, there are various packages for family and friends to enjoy.

Fang Fang

Hong Kong’s festive hotspot presents a special dinner menu at HKD $888 during Chinese New Year. It will feature rainbow Lo Hei with Norwegian Salmon, as well as a premium Dim Sum platter which will include a new interpretation of hargau, siumai and king crab dumpling. The special dinner menu will also comprise of pork ribs in a red wine dressing, Chilean seabass with forest honey, pandan leaf prawns, and truffle fried rice.

And on the revered celebration of Chinese New Year, families can head to Sing Yin Cantonese Dining where Chinese Executive Chef Johnny Chan has created an exquisite menu of 8 innovative Cantonese dishes are available during lunch and dinner for all to enjoy. From February 16 to March 2, 2018, the festive dishes are available from HKD $108 to HKD $668 per serving in the afternoon and evening. All prices are subject to 10% service charge.

Did you know that the Korean New Year also starts the same as the Chinese New Year? Make your way to the only Korean Makgeolli restaurant in Hong Kong and indulge in authentic Korean delights. Every guest will receive a complimentary portion of Homemade Korean Mini Rice-cake Pancake during dinner time from February 1 to 28, 2018. Don’t miss the five new Korean dishes and the exclusive Makgeolli Platter. Try the Jumbo Seafood Soup priced at HKD $440, Triple Beef Ssam HKD $420, Samgye Fried Chicken HKD $189, Spicy Pork Stew HKD $230, and Pancake Platter HKD $198) in addition to the exclusive Makgeolli Platter HKD $138.

The Upper House

One of the best spots in Hong Kong to watch the fireworks, head to Café Gray Deluxe at The Upper House. Using the finest ingredients, Chef Gray Kunz presents a menu that has been subtly infused with authentic Chinese flavors and inspiration. Priced at HK$1,388 per person, the five-course menu features an amuse of Gillardeau Oyster with Granite of Oolong Tea, followed by Double Boiled Organic Chicken Consommé with Truffle Julienne and Jinhua Ham, Sakura Shrimp Crusted Halibut with Watercress Broth, and Soy Glazed Black Market Beef Short Rib. For dessert, enjoy Chilled Soup of Ginger and Sago, followed by Milk Chocolate Mousse with Vin Jaune Poached Quince.

Zen

Make it a grand family affair at Zen where three sets of CNY menus are available for everyone. The traditional style menus include dishes with ingredients that symbolize good fortune. The Lucky Menu is priced at HKD $5,500 featuring deep-fried scallops stuffed with shrimp paste, roast crispy sesame chicken. The Joy Menu is priced at HKD $6,688 offering a whole suckling pig, grilled king prawns in honey tomato sauce, poached yin yang cabbage with tofu skin & wood fungi. The Prosperous Menu is priced at HKD $7,788 with fried baby lobster coated with golden duck yolk, double-boiled Yin Yang Chicken Soup with Ginseng, braised whole abalone with goose web, steamed whole red spotted garoupa. It is available until March 2, 2018.

Dress to impress and head to Hutong on February 17 for the best views of the Chinese New Year fireworks. With a 9-course celebratory menu to greet the Year of the Dog priced at HKD $1,888 per person, bask in the beauty of the city skyline while enjoying a decadent meal. Executive Chef Sai To has proudly created a series of dishes which inspire and delight, blessing friends, and relatives with tokens of love and well wishes featuring a mouth-watering Lobster Lo Hei that’s available from February 1 to 28, 2018.
