Forbes Travel Guide 2018 has just revealed a list of the world’s top spas. Of all the spa’s in all the world, a whopping five of our very own spas in Macau made it to the list! Due to the size of Macau, this statistically means that there’s one world-class spa around every 6km squared according to Forbes Travel Guide! The information is gathered by the company’s incognito inspectors, who stay at the properties and evaluate them on up to 900 standards including attention to detail, the level of sumptuous comfort, as well as luxurious choices and amenities afforded to guests, which together eventually form a rating. So if you’re needing a break or want to treat yourself or spend some time with a significant other or friend – look no further! Here are the five most luxurious Forbes Travel Guide winners in our city!
ESPA at the Ritz-Carlton
(See featured image above)
This Forbes world-class spa is found in one of Macau’s most premier destinations, Galaxy Macau. With the number of features at the spa, we are not surprised that ESPA made the list. They have vitality pools, steam rooms, saunas, ice fountains, experience showers and gender-segregated relaxation areas – but they were no doubt singled out due to the quality of their treatments. They pride themselves on their personalized attention to detail, offering couple suites for a romantic experience and private rooms for a personal holistic journey.

They don’t close until midnight! They pride themselves on using premium products and natural ingredients to match your skincare requirements by combining the restorative powers of nature and proven skin science with unrivalled expertise. The Spa at Wynn Palace
The Spa at Wynn Palace is another to get Forbes’ highly acclaimed five-star rating. This is an opulent haven that you can tell has been designed to sooth the spirit and make you feel like royalty. We absolutely love the oriental decor, which is inspired by the legendary palaces of China, with soft and low lighting creating a pure sense of serenity. If you want to be pampered and transported into another realm, Wynn Palace is the place to go. For extra indulgence, book a VIP Treatment Suite, where you will find privacy, dedicated health specialists and everything your mind and body needs to truly unwind.

Spa at Encore
Spa at Encore has been recognized by Forbes Travel Guide’s Five-Star Award consistently for six consecutive years! With a menu of more than 30 treatments and private therapy suites that each have their own steam room, sauna, hydrotherapy aroma bath, and relaxation lounge, it is no wonder they have been recognized for so long! For some alone time to really treat yourself, or to spend true quality time with a loved one, there is no experience more self-indulgent than a private sauna and suite.

Zensa Spa
Studio City Macau may be an action-packed resort with non-stop entertainment, but Forbes Travel Guide has recogniszd the Zensa Spa as a worthy retreat from the hustle and bustle! Up on the third floor of Star Tower, Zensa Spa is modern in design and offers a luxurious range of treatments and products. While we all love a good sauna, Zensa Spa actually offers a snow room – yes, snow – so that your body can benefit from the healing properties of the ice and the cold before running straight to the comfort of a sauna or Jacuzzi!
