Halloween is one of our favorite festivals! There are so many things we love about it. Candy, creepy creative decorations, food, food, food – oh and of course the chance to dress up in a costume for a scare. While meant for kids, many adults secretly adore it too and why not, it’s another reason to head out, celebrate and enjoy! We’ve compiled the ultimate list of family-friendly Halloween activities in Macau for a stress-free family outing packed with fun and entertainment for everyone.

One of the most anticipated Halloween events in the city is the Hallowfest Family Day at Grand Coloane Resort. It’s going to be a full day filled with fun and entertainment for all members of the family. With more than 20 Halloween games, competitions, arts and crafts, cookies decoration workshops and an all-star Halloween costume contest, everyone is a winner at the fabulous affair. The winners will receive a Family Camp Package and other cool dining vouchers. The event will be held on October 28 from 11:00am to 5:30pm. Don’t miss their delicious Halloween Family Brunch also, priced at only MOP $368 per adult and MOP $168 per child.

Grand Lapa
Make time for the little ones during this magical time of the year. Head to Grand Lapa where kids can be princesses and superheroes for a day. A children’s haven, Kids Co will host a Princesses and Superheroes themed costume party featuring fun games, craft activities, trick or treating, plus delicious snacks. Make sure to make your booking on October 27 from 2:30pm to 6:00pm. It’s priced at MOP $189 for resort members and hotel guests, and MOP $209 for visitors. It’s sure to be one memorable day with the family!

TRICK OR TREAT ST. LAZARUS X ZOM ‘B’ WALK
This event is both a fun and charitable event aimed to raise funds that will be donated to Orbis, an international NGO that cares for people’s sight. Kids can dress up in their favorite costume and explore the St. Lazarus area looking for candies. The idea is to collect them all by saying “Trick or Treat” at participating stores. Those dressed up as little zombies can get extra candies and have the opportunity to participate in the Zombie Costume Competition to win prizes.
On October 28 from 12:00pm to 7:00pm, come dressed in whichever costume and you’ll get a beautiful hand strap, treasure map, certificate of completion and a cute candy bag to collect candy. Those dressed as zombies get extra candies, medals and are eligible to participate in the Zombie Costume Competition, which has awards for Best Zombie Family and Best Zombie Costume. There will be a DIY make-up zone to enhance your zombie look. The fee is MOP $98 per child (accompanying adults will not be charged). Payments can be done either by Paypal or at Pastéis de Chaves Shop.

Hard Rock Cafe
Superheroes are all the rage these days. In Macau, one of the coolest places in town will be hosting a kids Halloween party featuring a theme of Justice League vs Avengers. Parents get to bond with their children as the Hard Rock Cafe team prepare a non-stop family itinerary of party games. There’s also a lucky draw and the kids with the coolest superhero costumes get a chance to win an instant prize. Don’t forget to make your reservations!

Broadway Macau
Things will get spooky at our favorite hang-out spot, the Broadway Food Street at Broadway Macau. Mark your calendar for a fantastic event on October 27, 2018. From 7:45pm onwards, the Happy Square will transform into a frightfully fun scene as spectacular performances unfold at the crazy street party. The pedicab singers have a special treat in themed costumes while role-play artists rove the party for cool photos. The talented members of live band Bobo & Gang will be providing music in the background while face painting services are also available at the location. Watch out for the Best in Halloween look contest with fabulous prizes up for grabs.
