Japanese restaurant Kulu Kulu is located in Grand Lisboa Palace Resort Macau and specializes in authentic recipes from this country. Boasting a modern and contemporary atmosphere, Kulu Kulu aims to be a place where people can unwind and socialize amongst friends and family in a casual yet artfully decorated setting.
Izakaya means “a shop where people can casually drink” and the restaurant’s design is inspired by traditional old wooden boxes that were used to measure rice when the grain was Japan’s main form of currency. There’s an open kitchen where guests and Japanese food lovers can watch the team behind the scenes.
The robata grill includes chefs expertly preparing Japanese-style grilled dishes made of fresh seafood, meat, poultry, and vegetables, and served from a wooden paddle as is traditional.
The restaurant also serves ramen noodles with different broths and toppings, as well as sushi and sashimi, handcrafted by a professional sushi chef. Signature items include tuna belly sashimi directly from Tokyo, grilled lamb with garlic sauce, and soft-boiled egg with Japanese-style pork belly don rice.
