July has arrived in full force! It’s hard to believe we’re already more than halfway through the year. And, judging by the Macau events packed in this month, July looks set to fly by as well. This weekend is the last chance to check out the Pink Gold & Black Pearls afternoon tea at the St. Regis Macao, which features an exquisite limited-edition 18k rose gold teapot pendant designed by Bao Bao Wan. Mercato is also back this weekend and this time Luca Pecorari, the executive sous chef of Bene, will be presenting the best of the best from Lazio cuisine with his a special curated menu featuring traditional dishes from the Italian central region. Of course, the FIFA World Cup is still on, and The Vasco Bar and Lounge at Grand Lapa is one of the livelier places to be to catch the action, as they are not only screening the games but also celebrating them with a unique FIFA afternoon tea set. A TRIP TO LAZIO WITH BENE’S FOOD AND WINE MERCATO
This weekend, Bene’s food and wine festival promises to take you from the northwest region of Piedmont to the central region of Lazio all from the comfort of your dining table in Macau. As the capital of Rome, Lazio is a gastronomical haven, renowned for its hearty, traditional and seasonal dishes put together with simple ingredients. Luca Pecorari, the executive sous chef of Bene, will be presenting the best of the best from Lazio cuisine with his new special curated menu featuring traditional dishes such as the Gnocchetti di Semola all’ Amatriciana (semolina gnocchetti with cured pork belly and pecorino cheese), Rigatoni all Carbonara, Supplì al Telefono (deep-fried rice balls stuffed with mozzarella with heirloom tomato panzanella salad), and more. CELEBRATE THE FIFA WORLD CUP AT GRAND LAPA MACAU

MARC CHAGALL: LIGHT AND COLOUR IN SOUTHERN FRANCE EXHIBITION
This Marc Chagall exhibition will feature a selection of works which highlight the pre-eminence of light and color in his creations. There will be paintings, gouaches, lithographs, costumes, and tapestries from the talented artist. His work includes a world of unique and diverse cultural influences which he encountered during a lifetime marked by war and exile. Chagall’s Light and Color in Southern Frances explore the omnipresence of lights and colors in his work from the 1950s, inspired by the dazzling Mediterranean Sea and bright landscapes of the French River.

ART IS PLAY – A PLAYFUL SIDE OF ART AT MGM MACAU
Art Is Play is a fun and colorful art exhibition which invites all guests of ages to head on a journey of self-discovery and social interaction through play. Taking place at the MGM Macau, there will be eye-catching art installations from five international artists, Cindy Ng from Macau, Ayumi Adachi from Japan, tomtom from Hong Kong, Walala from the United Kingdom, and Janice Wong from Singapore, who together will inspire the audience an exciting and playful side that they haven’t discovered.

This exhibition will be showcasing a unique collection of Chinese ink paintings from the renowned artist, Lio Man Cheong who will be presenting the history and production line of Macau’s ever-flourishing firecrackers industry, and the way of life surrounding it. Children and young youth can learn about the culture and history of Macau with abundant visuals and stories and know more about how our city used to be in the old times. It is, in fact, an invaluable testimony of Macau’s humble past and a reflection on the roots of local identity.
