António is located in the heart of the Old Taipa Village and offers authentic Portuguese cuisine prepared by a team of trained connoisseurs, led by Portuguese chef David Abreu. Signature dishes include several appetizers such as sauteed clams, braised sardines, octopus salad with olive oil, but also mains–with a variety of codfish based dishes–some Macanese-inspired goods like African chicken, and vegetarian options as well.
Chef David Abreu brings new, modern flavors to Portuguese recipes while maintaining tradition and original ingredients. The restaurant boasts a vintage atmosphere with three stories decorated with antique furniture and specially designed plates and cutlery. The staff is welcoming and eager to help with requests and questions about the food, menu and ingredients.
Located in Taipa Village, António offers a calm atmosphere where food pairs well with the wide list of white and red wines from Portugal and other parts of the world. There are also promotions and workshops happening at the restaurant from time to time, which are announced on the Facebook page.
Opening hours: Monday–Sunday, 11:30am–10:30pm
