Bistro D’indochine is a restaurant nestled on a patio close to Senado Square and the Consulate General of Portugal in Macau and Hong Kong. Serving Asian-inspired foods, it focuses on dishes from Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand, while Chinese, Macanese, and some international dishes are also available. Bistro D’Indochine has a set lunch menu with some different choices of the main dish that comes with a drink and some more goodies.
Signature dishes include Vietnamese-style spring rolls, pho, minced beef with egg and rice, among others. Beer is also on high demand at this place. While some people head there for food, others go for an afternoon drink, even at the patio when weather conditions allow. There are some chairs outside. Inside, the environment is welcoming, with modern and simple furniture and lots of vintage paintings and posters. The owner is an Australian-born man who also owns and manages Portuguese-inspired restaurant and bar, Cathedral.
