A tiny family-owned restaurant with only a few tables seating. Amagão is located on a hidden corner of a small alley on Taipa Village, which is easy to miss. Serving Portuguese dishes such as cod casserole, fried cod, curry chicken and others, this is a good place to take friends and family for dinner. They also have items from the grill, including ribs and steak.
Amagão is decorated on a family, comfortable style, with lots of Portuguese and traditional objects, including the figure of a chef at the door. The building is vintage and its interior has a relaxed vibe, good for those seeking peace and quiet away from the resorts and casinos. It is a gem within the touristic Taipa village. It’s only opened for dinner.
Opening hours: Thursday to Tuesday, 6:00pm–10:00pm
